Privacy

Who is responsible?

The controller is Društvo Pekinpah, Ob žici 3, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, email hello@artagonism.com.

Newsletter

When you subscribe, we process your email address to send Artagonism news, episodes, fragments and provocations. The legal basis is your consent. The subscription uses double opt-in: you must confirm the email link before the subscription is active.

We use Brevo to collect and deliver newsletter subscriptions. Your email address is retained while you remain subscribed or until you withdraw consent. After unsubscribing, a minimal opt-out record may remain on a suppression list so we do not accidentally send you messages again.

You can unsubscribe in any newsletter or contact us at hello@artagonism.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before withdrawal.

Website operation and spam protection

The site is hosted through Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare may process technical request information needed to deliver and secure the site, such as IP address, browser information and request logs.

Google reCAPTCHA v3 is used only to protect the Brevo newsletter signup form from spam and abuse; it is not used as general protection across the website. When you interact with the signup form, Google may process technical and device information needed for that protection. Analytics and advertising do not need to be enabled for the signup form to work.

Optional analytics and advertising

Google Analytics 4 is used only if you choose Analytics cookies. It helps us understand aggregated use of the site. Meta Pixel is used only if you choose Advertising cookies, including to measure newsletter-confirmation campaign results. You can choose either category independently, reject both, or change your mind at any time via .

Analytics and advertising providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Their processing and safeguards are governed by their own terms and privacy documentation. See Google’s Privacy Policy, Meta’s Privacy Policy, Brevo’s Privacy Policy and Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions in applicable law, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, or portability of your personal data. You may also complain to the Slovenian Information Commissioner at ip-rs.si.
